kathmandu : Minister of Foreign Affairs NP Saud is scheduled to attend the regional conference of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) in the United Kingdom from the 5th to the 7th of the upcoming month. According to Mahesh Shrestha, Vice President of the NRNA, Minister Saud will participate in an event organized in the UK and attend the NRNA’s 15th Regional Conference.
Minister Saud is also expected to participate in the coronation ceremony of British King Charles III. He is currently preparing to travel to London on May 4.Other prominent Nepali leaders such as Ramesh Lekhak from Nepali Congress, Subhash Nembang from CPN-UML, Khim Lal Devkota from CPN-Maoist, and Manish Jha, a Member of Parliament from the Nepal Swayamsevak Party, are also expected to attend the conference.
In addition to regular issues faced by NRNAs in Europe, the organizers have indicated that the conference will also focus on discussing and finding solutions to issues faced by Nepalis in Europe.
A committee has been formed under the coordination of regional coordinators Santosh Bhattarai and Chintamani Sapkota for the preparation of a conference. The conference is expected to have the participation of representatives from around two dozen countries in Europe.
Non-resident Nepali Central Officers, Nepal Government, Nepal Chamber of Commerce, journalists, Non-Resident Nepali International Committee’s central presidents, former presidents, journalists, and founders will be present at the conference.
The Non-Resident Nepali Association Check Republic will be responsible for organizing the conference.
